ABBYY FineReader does not work properly after operating system was updated to Windows 8.1

Solution

If ABBYY FineReader does not work properly after operating system was updated, please, have your copy of ABBYY FineReader reinstalled:

  1. Uninstall the existing copy (Start > Control Panel> Programs and Features, right-click the application name and select "Uninstall");
  2. Install the application anew.
