Error message that states that no licenses are available appears during installation even though licenses are available

When the program is installed on a workstation, an error message stating that there are no available licenses appears even though licenses are available in the License Manager.

We recommend restarting the ABBYY Lingvo 12 License Service on the computer that acts as the Lingvo licensing server. Once you have done so, try installing the program on the workstation again.

If the problem persists, check if RPC calls using the Named Pipes protocol can be made within your local network. Also check if all users that run ABBYY Lingvo 12 are authorized in the Lingvo License Server.

Follow the instructions below to check if your network is configured to handle calls that use the Named Pipes protocol.

Create a shared folder on the computer on which the License Manager is installed and make sure it is visible from the client computer (on the client, open the Start menu, select Run, type \\<name of computer with the License Manager>\<name of shared folder> and click OK). If you can see the contents of the shared folder, calls using the Named Pipes protocol can be made and the user is authorized.
