When creating a PDF file from a MS Office document the "Library not registered" error occurs

Description

The following error message appears during the conversion of a Microsoft Office document to PDF:

"<path_to_the_file> has not been converted.
Library not registered. Please try again later.
"

Solution

We recommend repairing Microsoft Office to fix this problem. Follow the instructions below to repair Microsoft Office.

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Select the Control Panel item.
  3. Select the Add or Remove Programs item.
  4. Select Microsoft Office in the list of currently installed programs.
  5. Click the Change button.
  6. Select the Repair option in the window that appears and click the Continue button. 

If the problem persists, reinstall ABBYY PDF Transformer. Make sure all Microsoft Office applications are closed before you begin installing ABBYY PDF Transformer.
